      It's a no from me.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Rich owners who think they know more than the experts they pay the big money for. So dumb.

The Gold Coast is where they belong.
Do you mean above us on the ladder????

I love Dessy the mad scientist as much as anyone but seems incredibly harsh to bin Holbrook now. He has slowly built a decent side. When he took over the GC, they were absolutely pitiful and now they are an exciting albeit inconsistent side. They're very young still and have plenty of growth. Holbrook is a good coach and will have suitors in the NRL and England when another job comes up, either as an assistant or head coach.

            Exactly.

It makes you wonder if there is anything else behind the scenes that could have led to such a harsh outcome.

If he is happy to stay as an assistant for 2-3 years minimum and not use us as a stepping stone then it’s a yes from me. Been in the system before, and been head coaching for awhile so can’t be a numpty. If he brings some attacking flair that’d be nice.

He has zero flair - he's beige at best
