He was offerred more than souffs to stay he got less at souffs next two years ..He burned hm self .

He had agreed to terms to stay at roosters via a handshake agreement with nick and robbo. He changed managers and began shopping himself around during the 2019 final series and went back to roosters saying he had received a better offer.

Nick said in my world a handshake is your word, so if you want a better deal go elsewhere. The original offer was withdrawn and he was let go (a year early). That says a lot about him!!

Fact is there was no better deal and he ended up a souths at a deal less than the original offer from roosters.

In addition he wasn't happy about the kudos being directed at other players and wanted to be the biggest star. Hence the media attention and preferential treatment he is receiving at Souths.

As brilliant as he is as a player, he is just a damaging to culture. The only problem for us is we haven't found a suitable replacement yet.....an uninjured Robert Toia may be the one.

Cmon even if a shyte season nothing can keep me from watching the roosters play. It might be painful, and may cause some damage to walls and doors at times but nothing makes the Adrenalin pump like the hours leading up to a game .
