Nick said in my world a handshake is your word, so if you want a better deal go elsewhere. The original offer was withdrawn and he was let go (a year early). That says a lot about him!!

Fact is there was no better deal and he ended up a souths at a deal less than the original offer from roosters.

In addition he wasn't happy about the kudos being directed at other players and wanted to be the biggest star. Hence the media attention and preferential treatment he is receiving at Souths.

As brilliant as he is as a player, he is just a damaging to culture. The only problem for us is we haven't found a suitable replacement yet.....an uninjured Robert Toia may be the one.

You summed it up very well. All facts. He was also fixated on being paid $1,000,000 because it is a lot sexier than getting $900k. Latrell has never been the smartest guy.

Cmon even if a shyte season nothing can keep me from watching the roosters play. It might be painful, and may cause some damage to walls and doors at times but nothing makes the Adrenalin pump like the hours leading up to a game .

Trell wanted to play Fullback and, at the time, Ted was firing big time so no brainer back then - woulda, shoulda now. Maybe more money to stay at Centre would have been a coulda? Whateva, in hindsight, it was an unfortunate decision to cut the most naturally talented and dominant Back in decades. And now there's all this talk here of letting Hutch go! Do we never learn?

he resents being tackled,
