Looking to next season

Our season is done and dusted this year. Time to start building for next year and looking at new combinations especially coaching combinations. Robbo's had his day in the sun and I'm thinking with the early success he had here he's convinced that he's the ants pants and that things will be fine. Time for a fresh start right now.

They need to blow up the attack and start again. I know the Broncos lost today but when they're sharp watch how much they offload the ball.

The days of punching through the middle one forward at a time are over. We waste our sets on too many settling plays and one-out running.

I’d like one forward who is allowed to offload the ball, it’s hit up after hit up and a bomb, that’s fine if you don’t make simple mistakes to negate the safe play, but since we can’t seem to complete at decent rates, I don’t see why we don’t try some second phase play. Lodge had that ability, but doesn’t look like he’ll get another go next year.

I did something similar the other week but did it a little less honest and there have been games since then.

I'd say you are right on the money except I'd swap Teddy and Brown around. Would also keep Nat Butcher in the stay category and put Terrell May in the OFOTD category, he could have a bit more to give. Otherwise completely agree with you.
