Be good to have him back in charge of the attack should he get the sack at Newie.

Was great in that role for us and the Storm previously. Just took the train wreck role at the Knights. And maybe not cut out for head coach responsibilities.

Either way, our support coaching staff is clearly in need of a clean out.

He is set to get the chop and the halfwits up there are so stupid their main target for coach is McGregor .... Thats almost as bad as Seibold.

Why the support coaching staff and not the coach himself?

Both Robbo and Nick have made it very clear who is responsible for the mess around here

Robbo's staff keeps getting poached, which is what happens when you're successful I guess.

I'd say the first step for management will be to get a better coaching team around the Head Coach.

Can't see them just sacking someone who recently won back to back premierships and was just made a lifetime member on the basis of one season. (Although it's been more than that hasn't it.)

Besides, I don't think Politis has another rebuild in him.

Besides the fact that AOB is an a-grade F-wit (and hated by his players) do you honestly think Nick would allow him anywhere near the joint.

Even if a clean up is required you’ve got to have some standards

Not sure about that.. I think we may have dodged a bullit .. or he was not ready and still is to be a first grade coach

I don't know anything about him other than he was successful with us and Melbourne.

I like AOB but I think the way he left the club, he might not be welcomed back.

It was easy to be a success as the attack coach when you had a backline consisting of Teddy, Toops, Latrell, Joey, Morris, Keary and Cronk. Wonder how he would go with the current mob we have

Moley reporting him and his half have fallen out.

I don't think uncle Nick would welcome him back, better chance of getting Justin Holbrook.

He'd be a perfect assistant for Anthony Seibold.

he seems like a likeable bloke but it'd be about how he'd get on with robbo and the players. he left us early so you'd figure it's unlikely we'd want him back but if he could add value then why not.
but having been a head coach you'd figure it would make more sense for him to go super league if he can get a gig

Interesting point… Nick is still pretty committed but he is getting on

Look… Robbo has done very well but all good things come to an end… the way he talks these days, the odd ball selections and strange loyalties, and the utter inept performance of a loaded squad suggest he is nowhere near as good as some think

Yes he went to back to back… God bless him… that was fantastic… but the fact is he’s had a stacked roster for 10 years… he’s made three GFs… just like Ricky did in 3 years… and Robbo easily could have lost a couple of them as well… even old Brian miraculously had us in a GF just a couple of years before… Robbo didn’t climb Everest here

People here bag Des… the guy has made 5 GFs… yet in the same breath suggest there can’t be anyone better than Robbo… I respect the 3 titles… particularly the one against the Storm… but outside of them there has always been an undercurrent of doing less with more with Robbo… and this year is the perfect storm… simply no one has been worse

Send him to the Blues… he’ll enjoy all the free time

Hutch would get a nice $90k boost if that happened
