Haha come on mate, where have I missed the mark?

As much as I am a critic of Robinson, I think it lies predominantly in his stubbornness and failure to evolve his tactics and speak in riddles/overthink, I don't think he has any issues with man management. It's just easy for the media, particularly Hooper and Co. to say "there is unrest", no sh-t there is unrest, we are a huge club that is massively underperforming. I don't think its anyone turning on the coach though.

Was more annoyed that Tallis goes to the well of "buying success".

As much as I dislike Hooper’s smug face I must defend him on this occasion. It was a Brent reed article and Hooper refuted it by saying that he’s been around roosters training and sees nothing to suggest what the article is implying.

Just another opinion, on a more positive note… if indeed 2023 becomes more about 2024 & beyond, then I’m excited, if the Roosters are able to hold on to some very impressive youngsters & further develop them through the new Academy of Excellence. I have followed this crop closely over the last couple of years… there are some successful years looming if they are still in the system, to blood in, to the current level of senior experience available… so for the 2023 season

          Dooner, L. (HM/NSW schoolboys)
          Fittler, Z. (HM/Rugby union)
          Foketi, S. (SGB/Flegg)
          Ioelu, B. (SGB/Flegg)
          Moriarty, T. (Cup)
          Roberts, E. (SGB/Flegg)
          Rodwell, T. (HM/NSW schoolboys)
          Safarti, Z. (SGB/NSW schoolboys)
          Steep, B. (injured -ACL)
          Tia, C. (SGB/Flegg)
          * TOIA, R. (injured -ACL)
          Toy, C. (SGB)
          Va’a, D (SGB/Flegg/NSW schoolboys)
          Va’a, X (Cup)
          * WONG, S. (Cup) …debuting this weekend v Manly - good luck champion!

          * currently signed to the NRL 30man squad

I reckon Xavier Va’a isn’t too far off a debut. Going good since he has been starting and if things continue to go south this season, probably makes more sense to give him playing time than May or alike

Is that what the exclamation marks are for?

I think you actually surprised yourself lol

I don't think he's lost the dressing room. However there were a couple of games where the boys pretty much gave up after the first 20. It looked like they'd had enough of the Manu 5/8th ,Suaalii in the centres etc experiment. You're not going to give 100% if you don't believe in it especially when Robbo continued to persevere. Effort areas went out the window!

With that said I thought the boys gave 100% against the Raiders. Execution let us down in that game! We're not playing with any confidence so our timing is out, we appear clunky and we're failing to ice our opportunities.

Do you ever get the impression they get together before a show and decide who is going to take which side of an argument?

Tallis is indeed a very disagreeable bloke… and not because he often talks nonsense about us… I have zero idea how he made a career in the media

I think there is some truth to the story… when performance is down to a man the issue becomes a systemic one… it’s not about talent… because we are loaded in that sense… commitment to the cause becomes the issue

I wouldn’t say the players have downed tools either… but rather they’re all down 5-10%… some even more… it’s on the coach to have them play to their level… otherwise he has no purpose at the club

Anyway we’ll know more this weekend… our dirty laundry is airing in public… how the players respond to that will say a lot

This is starting to circulate again
While I don’t think it’s true I can actually believe it as well
playing guys out of position, dropping Guys and admitting in round 18 his still doesn’t have an answer to our attack and defence is a little questionable
robbo is one of the best minds and thinkers of the game, but rugby league is a simple game and sometimes you can overthink it
recruits have not impressed however injuries and lack of continuity with the team because of this is making it hard
it’s got a 2016 feel to it again. We have the team and talent to do so, just need to find it and click
while this year may be over, we were starting to hum along early on beating south’s and parra without a lot of players and were saying imagine when everyone is back
we play for premierships and with the side we have we all expected more, our rooster wall of defence and scoring plenty of points per match! Not pulling the hair out each week
                        It's Hooper and Tallis mate.

A News Limited stooge who gets joy out of destabilising clubs, and a mouthbreather Queenslander who would be flat out counting past 10.

Both of them dislike the Roosters, Tallis immensely.

Are we really surprised at this sort of content?

Its a big nothing burger designed just to get clicks and eyeballs.

Hooper - "I go to Roosters training all the time and no one ever talks to me. I don't even know where the dressing room is. Where's my Cool Aid (TM)?"

Absolute f*cking clowns ... desperate for some click-bait attention.

There are probably some disgruntled individuals like Lodge. If they don't want to listen to Robbo then they should be promptly shown the door.

I’ve said it plenty of times that Robbo will decide when his coaching days are up.
Nick is in awe of Robbo & he will not step in & get rid of him.
