Lomax is reported to be on $700k a year. Let's say a club takes him at $400k/$500k a year and the Dragons pay the balance. They'll still need to replace him with someone say at $300/$400k a year so they're still forking out around that $700k a year for a centre. No wonder they're in all sorts! Plus he's contracted end of season 2026.

I see a highly skilled player..game breaker who in reality should be one of the top players in the comp.He has a lot of faults. If a coach can bring him back to earth.he would be a massive buy...or he is is going to remain a farkwit.Too bad we missed the June 30th bullshit .We need a centet badly

Hey mate, I think the deadline is early August, and its a no from me re Lomax as he is a bit of a flog and has regressed in recent years, much rather the likes of Staggs or the young riff centre (Tago?) if they was ever to come available, Staggs can kick goals and Tago can play backrow as well as centre.....

No point buying a centre this year for big bucks, season for us is bust anyway imo.....we won't make the top 4 and you need to be top 4 to win the comp.

Anyway I have high hopes for Rob Toia, if he can remain injury free, he will probably get a taste of the NRL next year with us......the kid can play and is powerful and quick.....
