I'm sure Tagive & Bosden will be out to prove a point against their former employer. Coincidence, or a calculated move by Smith to introduce them into the team one round before this game?

I'm thinking we will be seriously up for this one.... I think the boys know this is a real opportunity to get a little cred for this season.

its a risk that is taken week in week out by many other teams. its more a worrk whether he can handle they 80 minutes and contribute effectively to attack for the 80.

I am not convinced that this will be the 17 tomorrow.. It is unfathomable that Anthony Mitchell is not there somewhere.

That's what I'm thinking too. This lineup smells fishy..

What a huge bench. Smithy must know we can't beat anyone with our slow backline and we need to win it through the forwards.

another ridiculous selection by master coach smith.

Mitchell should be the starting hooker. Instead he is not even in the 17. That'll teach him to show speed from dummy half and good service, that is simply not acceptable for a smith coached team.

Also its a weak backrow with both guerra and arona in it.

Have to agree Fred. Mitchell should be the starting hooker with Mortimer on the bench. Friend needs to find some form in Newtown. I still can't believe Arona gets a starting spot!!! Even if he doesn't start, he doesn't deserve to be wearing the 13! Taka should be in there. Arona is our weak link in my opinion.

Same can be said about Jaimie Soward who usually plays blinders against us. His snubbing by Country officials last weekend will have him fired up too. Hopefully Tasi or Mose can iron him out

Although Arona has not exactly set the world on fire, he goes out there and gets the job done and is improving with every game he plays..

He has never been our worst player in any game...

... and BJ is a former Dragon as well.

Lots of added spice for this one.

Taka isn't a good enough defender to play lock, Arona is the best option and he's been one of our best players this year. He's deserved this opportunity through good performances off the bench.

I thought of that as soon as i seen his name on the list.

It was the S.C.G game in 2010.
