Sorry to be a broken record, but the biggest danger to us tomorrow will be the men in pink. Again in 2012 we have won 1 out of 7 penalty counts. And before some pedant puts that all down to our "poor discipline" (which has been going on for at least 5 years), I am still waiting for one of the chookpen experts to explain how OUR poor discipline IMPROVES the other team's discipline - it's not that we lose the penalty counts I object to, but that we RECEIVE the least penalties, and have done for the last 5 years.
The last time I raised this curious statistic on another thread I was invited by "Thirteen" to close my browser and never return here. Some on here like Thirteen must just enjoy the beatings we receive from the match officials.
player 1, you can lead a horse (idiots) to water (indisputable facts), but you can't make them drink (see reason).
The situation with penalties is so egregious and persistent, it puzzles me why the club has not done anything about it such as approaching the NRL with the statistics that you and Spirit of 66 have put together and asking for a please explain.
I would bet London to a brick that the merge scum will get the first penalty tomorrow and it will be in one of their first three sets at the latest.
The Roosters will get their first penalty some time later.

The interesting (or concerning really) aspect of the officiating tomorrow is that we will the first game of the mooted "crackdown" on slowing down the play the ball and enforcing the 10 metres. Unfortunately the fools in pink will have an open licence to bash us around.
On one hand, we do seem to be a bit tardy laying on the tackled player sometimes and will get pinged if that continues.
On the positive side we always play our best football with the up tempo, quick play the ball style that Smithy loves to coach.
Could work for or agin us tomorrow but hopefully the refs wont dominate and ruin the game too much.
