Keary's Try Assist to DCE

Our halves are being targetted and are making many more tackles than the opposition halves in most games, leaving them gassed in attack.
Over our last 5 losses, our halves have made 223 tackles, the opposition halves only 165. This was highlighted on Sunday where Manly ran at them all day. Kez & Sandon made 53 tackles (26 & 27 respectively), Schuster & DCE made 23 (11 & 12). This differential in work rate makes a big difference.
Unfortunately, I think we are often too honorable in the way we play. Jaz always seem to run at the oppositions biggest forward. The opposition props run at the smallest bloke they can find. Our halves get targetted, both on & off the ball. We don't seem to do anything other than apply pressure where we can in a legitimate fashion. We don't lay down for penalties .... everyone else does. I love Robbo, but sometimes I think he needs to let our guys get down in the trenches and fight fire with fire. We've got the blokes to do it.

The entire team was lazy on that play, I saw it from the dummy half, nobody was running onto the ball, I don't think Keary was expecting the ball as none of the forwards put their hand up for a run.
From their he was lazy as well and it cost us the game, but not just Keary's fault.
DCE kicking game won it for Manly, Our forwards had an awesome match but DCE kept them in the game.
This is when we have missed Pearce, remember he used to have a great long kicking game to get us out of trouble.

As an example of this sorta maturity, I attended a training session at the Belco Raiders Club just after we'd signed Fergo. Fergo was walking up with the boys and Raiders fans kept heckling him about shyte. He just ghosted them all and walked to the bus. Moa said something that I won't repeat (in rebuttal to some of their BS) and it was over.
