If Sam is 100% fit he should play, but only then.
If they bring him back early in a vain attempt to make up for the cluster fuuk the guru created and his knee goes again it would be unforgiveable.

If Sam is going to stay here next year, I would just give him the rest of the year off to focus on getting the knee right, putting on another 5kgs, and getting a longer kicking game.

Our season is stuffed, and him playing is not going to save it. Let him come back next year as the saviour.

People on here banging on about Sandon Smith because he has thrown a nice pass from dummy half and a linebreak against the Knights. Go back and watch Walkers highlights from his early games !!! Walker is and will be a star for a very long time, I hope it's in our colours
Walker had the calming influence of the Mercurial Hutchinator who took on the Organising and Kicking duties so Walker could just be a running half

Apart from NRL have you seen Sandon Smith play though - he has a bright future too hopefully with the Roosters

Topped line engagements / try assists in NSW Cup in 2022 for instance - not bad for a player who was playing SG Ball in 2021.

In his presser today Robbo reportedly talked about Sam Walker and how his recovery is going slower than expected and he has not been cleared to return yet.

Robbo gave an update on Walker during his presser today where he mentioned Walker is going to have some further testing/evaluation about the function of that damaged ACL so the medical staff can better understand whether further rest will be beneficial in his recovery.

I don’t think there’s much point Walker attempting to come back this year. He’d be better off just rehabbing the knee to ensure it’s strong and ready to go next year.
