All I was hoping for this season was for us to be competitive but now the rest of the year feels like a dead rubber. There is one thing to look forward to and I hope it happens which is for Toups to claim the record and he for sure deserves it.

I wouldn't mind us hitting a little bit of form towards the back end of the season and belting Souffs in the final round, perhaps knocking them out of the top 4.........that would be good.....

Lol at Bazball. Was never going to work against a stong attack like Aust or India at home. Its one thing dominating the Pakis on roads in Karachi and its another thing doing it against a quality attack. If Aust get another 150 you'd think it'll be enough to go 3-0

feels more like a bye week to me than the off season.
our strategy for the rest of the season should be -
            1) win the comp. we're a club that prides itself on winning premierships so let's finish the season like we mean it. we've been given 8 weeks to live with only a mathematical chance of getting another 1-4 weeks. let's play good footy and see what happens.
            2) regardless, finish off the season well. we can set up 2024 nicely with a good finish. if sammy comes back and fires, suaalii finds form, cheese shows us what he's got etc then we could go into a full off season well placed to do good things next year

The pair in now will need to put on a good partnership because Wood looks like he will skittle our tail. Marnus and Smith could have sealed the Ashes but got out to rubbish shots when batting time was required to wear the poms bowling attack down which is wounded.
Stokes worries me as he is the best at counter-attacking under the pump I've seen besides Lara. The series has been enthralling with many twists and turns.
Footy through the origin period is terrible as it butchers the comp. I cant think of any other sport which does likewise and deprives its best players in the middle of the season.

What really #isses me off is seeing the ' live laddrer ' currently during games and the Roosters are nowhere. What a disappointing year.

Only a fair weather supporter would be feeling “off-season vibes” at this stage of the season.

Yes sure it’s been a disappointing year but it ain’t over yet. I intend to be at every game until now and the end and I’ll support us until the end.

                      BRING IT ON!

Bring it on? Are you a cheerleader? Fantastic! You girls do a great job. I'd hope you'd be at every game. Remain positive. Flash those pom poms.

If you attended games you would know that cheeeleaders don’t go to away games.

That's terrible. So you don't wear your uniform at away games?

Agree with you JB. I think we need to be around 300 ahead to be safe which means this partnership between Marsh and Head needs to be very good. I think the poms are likely to rip through our tail again. I also agree with your point on SOO completely destroying the integrity of the competition in the middle of the season. Even when we are riding high on the ladder, this time of the season is a real downer for me with all the byes and weakened teams forced to play without their star players. It’s a joke.
