All I was hoping for this season was for us to be competitive but now the rest of the year feels like a dead rubber. There is one thing to look forward to and I hope it happens which is for Toups to claim the record and he for sure deserves it.

feels more like a bye week to me than the off season.
our strategy for the rest of the season should be -
1) win the comp. we're a club that prides itself on winning premierships so let's finish the season like we mean it. we've been given 8 weeks to live with only a mathematical chance of getting another 1-4 weeks. let's play good footy and see what happens.
2) regardless, finish off the season well. we can set up 2024 nicely with a good finish. if sammy comes back and fires, suaalii finds form, cheese shows us what he's got etc then we could go into a full off season well placed to do good things next year

Stokes worries me as he is the best at counter-attacking under the pump I've seen besides Lara. The series has been enthralling with many twists and turns.
Footy through the origin period is terrible as it butchers the comp. I cant think of any other sport which does likewise and deprives its best players in the middle of the season.

Only a fair weather supporter would be feeling “off-season vibes” at this stage of the season.
Yes sure it’s been a disappointing year but it ain’t over yet. I intend to be at every game until now and the end and I’ll support us until the end.
