Any player no matter how good he is cannot be at peak form forever. Age is definitely a factor which affects speed, reaction and alertness resulting in more mistakes. This will happen to all players. BUT the one thing that can never ever be said about Teddy is that he doesn’t give it his all - 200% of it each and every match. So let’s be fair. He’s aging and will/is losing his peak performance but he still will be among the top fullbacks until the end of his contract. But if he deteriorates rapidly then no worries we have Manu. Teddy however deserves our respect and gratitude.

It’s no more putrid than the disrespect given towards Trent Robinson, Drew Hutchison and others on a daily basis by our fans.

I can agree with you that Drew cops unwarranted criticism. Just a clubmen trying to do his best and somewhat out of his depth.

But please don’t try to justify some of terrible coaching errors we have had to endure this year by Robbo. Ultimate bed shit by a coach ever.

Teddy has operated at a level few have ever achieved in the game and he continues to play well for us and NSW, but makes the odd error or doesn't win a game on his own anymore and he is apparently finished.

Hutch is not usually attacked personally, not by me at least. It's more his role out of position in the team. Nobody disputes his effort, although he will have less credit in the proverbial bank so to speak given his lack of ability when compared to Teddy. You can pretend it doesn't matter but indeed it does given we are talking about elite sport.

Some people are genuinely calling for our captain and club legend to be moved on or changed positions after 3-4 average games, whilst ignoring 4-5 outstanding seasons. That is the difference.

Personally I think Teddy is going okay, though clearly not at his past level, which was as good as it gets. I don't get the cheerleading mentality of those who question anything that isn't pro Roosters though. Forget the "not putting in" thing, what happens if his form continues to decline over the next few years? Still posting "how dare you" pro Teddy stuff? On Hutch, he is a good back up half. Cruelled like Suallii, playing out of position at times when others more suitable were available. We really don't have any back up centres? Why not? What type of planning is that?

Surely you are taking the piss?

There are already multiple threads on all his poor decisions this year regarding Walkers dropping, playing personnel out of position, picking the wrong players all together, inadequate game plans etc. I’m not going over old ground. Take the time to do a bit of reading though some of the existing threads on here.

For the record I don’t dislike Robbo. Just calling it how I see it and he hasn’t performed this year.
