Despite a lapse in concentration and a heartbreaking finish, today was a sign of things to come. We'd made a habit of winning ugly, today we lost playing great football, far less enjoyable, much more beneficial. Today we demonstrated we can put great pressure on, we can stand up in defence, Pearce can step up and control a game and Minichiello hasn't quite lost it. We're finally getting the team chemistry we've lacked since 2010. The sooner we can get Braith out, Maloney in and sort out our problems at 9 (that appear to have come out of nowhere this year) the better.

Chin Up People, the future is bright, 2013 will be a real chance for us and 2012 won't be nearly as insufferable as '11 or '09. We have a team with heart and passion, we've cleaned out most of the deadweight, the boys want it, that much is obvious.

We are a young team and have a real 5/8 coming to us next season.
Before the game, if someone said we would be in the game up until the last second I would have been happy, but after that I'm heartbroken.
