Sorry, but I simply can't get excited about this anymore. Win or lose our season is pretty much faaarked. Even if we go on a tear and somehow scrape into the 8, I just can't see us troubling any contenders in September.

We have Klein in the bunker again - I bet as soon as we can no longer make the 8 we stop getting Klein and/or Cummins. Just watch, it will happen. Aaarrrgghhh.

Changes this week are minimal - still no Walker, but I'm not sure that it matters anymore. Perhaps it's better for him to spend the rest of this season improving his strength and come back bigger & better in 2024. Teddy returns and the resultant backline shuffle means Manu goes back to centre, Suaalii to the wing and Pauga drops out.

Tino is out for them, which can only help our cause. I think we may need more help than that.

I really want to see Toops break Mini's record this week. He often scores tries in bunches, so after breaking a little dry spell with his double last week, I'm tipping him to score again on Saturday. Good luck legend !! My tip: back Toops & Khan-Pereira as anytime try scorers.

The kid is trying to come back from a partially torn ACL its not something you can rush as if you do there is increased risk of a full rupture and 9 months out of the game.
