There’s a difference between blind defence and support. I wholeheartedly support Trent and I really want him to be successful and will continue to do so whilst he’s at the club, however I simply cannot defend many of his decisions over the last couple of years and I won’t defend his inability to get the best out of this team. I support Hutchinson every time he takes the field, but I can’t defend him if someone says he’s a fairly ordinary first grader because that’s what he is.

SamKerr is right. We have great individuals but we’re not a good team. There is no fluency and there hasn’t been at all this season. They play like a bunch of guys who haven’t met.

You guys do nothing but sook about the coaching so I don’t know where you get the idea you’re being suppressed from expression. All I read on this fan forum is how bad Brandon Smith, Billy Smith, Egan Butcher, Nat Butcher, Radley, Suaalii, Keary, Allan, Hutchison etc are and then you guys claim that these players are in fact under performing and should be higher on the ladder. You guys don’t even know what you’re arguing about half the time because you change the argument just for the sake of arguing.

The Roosters haven’t finished top 4 since 2020 so where are you getting this idea that we have a top 4 team? If you read the lineup for this weekend and genuinely believe that’s a top 4 lineup then no wonder you’re bitterly disappointed in 2023 because you’re expectations were way out of control.

I don’t defend the coach blindly. Just as you are capable of analysing the situation and coming up with your own opinion, so am I. Just because my opinion is different to yours does not mean I haven’t put sufficient thought into it.

Robbo has form throwing young halves to the wolves when they don’t fit his style of play so no reason to think he won’t do the same to Sammy. Especially given his job had unexpectedly come under pressure this season

I’ve never bagged those players, but do I think they are underperforming and think we should be higher on the ladder? Hell yes.

The Raiders are 4th... so anyone saying this side being in the Top 4 is unrealistic is laughable. We have had plenty of injury setbacks but not enough to justify the position on the ladder.

The worrying thing is this season is the exact same as last season, except we haven't gone on a massive run at the end of the season. I do think we win this weekend but. Tino out is huge for them.
