  • Looking at the future!

I for one, and proud of the way our boys played today, and am looking forward to our future!
We had 3 players over 24 today (Perrett, Anasta and Mini) and the average age of our forward pack was under 23 years.
When you consider our 20's players who are coming along nicely we look set for a while now, if we can keep hold of the majority of our current crop, we will be competing for the premiership in no time!

If we keep up those performances week in week out (for the full 80 ofcourse) i reckon we can go close to top 4 this year

You're right! We were MUCH better off with the team we had back in 09, bring back Freddy to coach!!!!
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

You have a point, but today in my opinion, is a confidence killer.

If that team couldn't win today, it'll be lucky to win another game this year.

Who is it going to beat?

            Changes must be made.

Absolutely, especially with them being such a young team

Will be interesting, today reminds me of the Warriors game back in 2010 in the wet over there where we led and controlled the game for 79 minutes only for Locke to score the match winner. We went on to win our next 5 games after that. Today shows the young guys that they can compete with the big guns in the competition, but your right it could still seem them start to doubt themselves.

It took Souths a while to get over their round 1 loss.

In round 1, we learnt we could win from anywhere. Today we learnt we can also lose from anywhere...

This Game will be a season changer for the good we lost we where unlucky bad bounce of the ball. the match changer was Cowards penalty if he didn't give that away i believe we would have scored the next set or wasted more clock time but i agree with the kick for two.

Will beat the Knights Next week by 13+

That game was exactly what I was thinking bro but at the same time things don't always turn out how you hope they will... Sigh it will be a long wait till the next game.

It was a good game, tough to take as an Easts fan, I guess now we know how Souffs fans felt after rnd 1.

I think the players will feel the long wait too. I hope they react with some venom. If we can it may just define our season and our mental toughness. I'm sure Smiffs been thru similar times with his teams before, hopefully he can help them to make that disappointment work for them.
