      Go Easts!!
We needed to win convincingly against Canberra a few weeks ago. Now we play for pride and we gear up for beating Souths at the end of the year. At least beating Souths twice this year will give us something to cheer about along with Toops record try scoring feats.

The Dragons, Canberra & Manly losses cruelled us big time.

Speaking of cheering, any idea when JWH is due to play his 300th? Pretty incredible for front rower.

He has stuffed up 2 seasons now and I’ve continually cut him slack but now I really believe that without Fitzy he hasn’t a clue and although he took all the credit for our successes it was the ‘faceless men behind the scenes’ who were the real true coaches. His decisions this year have revealed pure incompetence.
I do agree that Robbo deserves scrutiny (particularly & obviously for this year) but I think the last half of this is unfair regarding Robbo.

Next year could well be his do or die season, and I’m backing him to get us out of the hole we are in. It will be his biggest test.

We should win this one. I’d say we win it comfortably, as the titans have some key outs eg Tino, but based on recent performances it probably won’t be the case.

Currently we are 4 points outside the top 8. Technically we still have a chance. Even if we don’t make it, I hope that we put together a final 7 games that will make the fans proud.

                We should win this, hopefully.
We are 3 short of our optimum 17
                missing Sammy, Victor and Whyte
those 3 would be in if they were available
replaced by Sandon, E Butch and Baker
I think it's going to come down to how well Sandon goes
if he has a good game, I reckon we can win it.
                Go the Chookies.

Not sure how we are favourites, perhaps the bookies know something?

I just want to see us show some speed in how we attack (Hi Robbo) the game. We look so so slow in everything we do compared to other teams. Even Tiges and Goons on Thursday were sharper than us.

Todays game is about speed, quick feet quick body movements. Only Kez and Pauga were close last week.

On the back of that sort of improvement we can win some games. Not holding my breath though.

We need Sandon to play out of his skin today and take the pressure off Kez. Ditto Teddy. I see this game panning out like the Knights game and hopefully we jag a win.

                        Robbo would be nervous!

I have a feeling the Chooks are going to win today, I think it will be very close.

It’s going to be a warm one. Should be a good fast open game. Can’t wait to get out there.

With Teddy, Luke, Manu, Toops and Jarred in our side, I won’t be making any excuses.

Your such a good loyal supporter Thirteen & I know you have put your hard earned down again to attend the game so for sake I hope they win.

I have to be honest, I think we are no chance. Not sure why so many here seem confident of this game, we’ve shown very little the past few months

I agree with you fully. The tactics for the rest of the year should be to run hard, fast and more importantly straight. There is too much slow side to side stuff this year. We need to start building something to hit the ground running for the start of next season (hello Robbo - get the team firing in round 1 from now on). And Tackle hard. Any player that runs sideways, no effort etc should be dumped.
