Who the Roosters should target - Good Fox League article
We already should have the Keary replacement with us, that being Sandon Smith who should take the rest of this season and next to become a full fledged viable first grader and come out in season 2025 as Sam Walker's halves partner.
At hooker we already have two pretty good choices, Brandon Smith when firing should be a top 5 hooker in the comp and Turpin is certainly good enough to do a job there for us.

I’d love to see Walker and Smith in the halves, but right now they are both relatively small bodies and neither have that much 1st grade experience. We saw glimpses of some good game management from Smith yesterday, which if he continues to develop will definitely compliment Walker’s natural ad lib game.
A very different story if Walker puts on 10kg of muscle like Cleary did (maybe not in the same way though).
Don't really know where to post this, but after watching NRL360 tonight, wanted to comment on the interview with Warriors coach, Andrew Webster.
So impressed with this guy. Know buggerall about him but seeing how his team is performing wanted to check his rhetoric and persona.
Now Flanno has been taken, I have my next in line when Robbo calls time. Love his tude and authenticity. Can understand why the players react positively to him. This guy is the real deal.

it was interesting , he said he took his coaching team away for a few days and nutted out what statistics, percentages , effort plays generally win nrl games .
I am still waiting for Haas and Hunt to arrive as both were apparently signed sealed and delivered.
They don't need any on that list or one's being bandied around as possible signings - plenty of youngsters coming through the Junior and Senior Rep Pathways
Halves in Sandon Smith / Cassius Tia / Hayden Ritchie / Hugo Savala for instance - Dummy Halves such as Tyler Moriarty/ Thomas Deakin / Alan Holton / Benaiah Ioelu and a host of other players in a range of back and forward positions.
In 2024 when the Roosters have a sole NSW Cup side the Pathway development will be a seamless one from The Academies to Junior Reps through to NRL and NRLW.
The Roosters have Academies for both Male and Female Players - Sydney Roosters and Central Coast Roosters
Develop and promote internally with targeted external signings only when and if required.

Hunt is the only one who (might) be available who would be worth spilling the cheque book open for imo.
Having said that, I can't see it happening.
I'd still prefer to see a Keary/Walker combo for next year. I think in the off season they, and the brains trust, will be determined to develop a strategy where they can work really well together.
I'd like to see Sandon Smith as permanent no.14 in 2024, coming into the halves permanently in 2025 when I expect Keary will retire.
Turpin is a must keep, he will only get better and should be our starting 9. Cheese to bulk up and move into the 13.
1. Teddy
2. Toops
3. (Perhaps Pauga or Toia? Unsure, but i'm not a fan of any of our other existing options)
4. Manu
5. Young
6. Keary
7. Walker (i'm predicting he just needs a 3-4 run of good games, and with confidence high he'll subsequently kill it)
8. Collins
9. Turpin
10. N Butcher (bulked up a bit more)
11. Crichton (will be much better rested, and mentally well)
12. Sitili
13. Smith (Cheese)
14. Smith (Sandon)
15. Radley
16. Brown / Whyte / Wong
17. JWH
I cant find room for Suallii, E Butcher, Hutchison, Allan, May, Smith (Billy), Momo. I am presuming we'll find a way to let Suallii go on his way, otherwise i'm certain the club will have him at centre next year.
Still concerned about the lack of good leadership talent in the squad. I like Teddy a lot as a player, but not sold on his captaincy nowdays. I think Keary is a bit too aloof for the job. N Butcher & JWH as dual captains perhaps?

why does everyone not accept Lewis Murphy into our side. he looks like a gun. plays left and right wing and centre. super fast and a good size. go google him and have a look.
saw last night on 360 that Buzz reckons Bradman Best is in Uncle nicks spotlight...works for me ....also that f**ktard Tallis had to mention the chooks cap again, said where the money coming from for best? , buzz said Sualli is 700k , Best is 700k straight fund swap, so I dunno where's his math issue?
