  • Things we could have done better

    Great win Roosters.
chees burger played tooo long. 10 minutes in the 2nd half only for him the Turps on. The game swung back after this change occured.
Baker not to play for us again. Turns like the queen mary and grabs instead of tackles. 2 tries thru him.
we are still getting pinned for ruck infringements.
More post try team gatherings. Congradulate to scorer like last night.
And finally walk around after the game and give back to us supporters.
Meet n greet would be good as i believe they are staying up here

You couldn't improve on that first half. 9.5/10 I reckon. But the 2nd half was pretty bloody ordinary.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Yes and the ref was just pulling most of them out of his arse trying to give a leg up to GC.

It looked like The Cheese hurt his shoulder. This effected his intensity and reflected on the teams second half performance imo.

Their first half was brilliant, like a training run and against a solid lineup but the second stanza was a total return to recent form so the cobwebs seem yet to be dealt with. WTF happened there? A 30-0 half time result would affect everyone (except the Titans) and possibly they took it easy but if form was, at last, found in the first half you'd think that they'd go on with it. The Tits are good side on their day and they did managed to quieten Joey and that was part of it but Jeez, I can't get too enthusiastic.

Lindsay, however, looks to have gone up a gear or two after his SOO heroics.

I feel as though a large part of 'doing better' woulda been not taking JWH, Collins and Brown off the field for the last 20. Allan (with zero minutes of game-time) may not have been the most useful bench inclusion either.

We earned ourselves a rest whereby Wongie, May and Baker could get some solid minutes though! This combined with a string of B2B penalties made the Titans look a lot better than they were.

Storm did this to us though. Rightly or wrongly, they earned the right to remove Grant/Munster/NAS from the field. Next week's a short turnaround against a tough opponent. IMO exposing JWH/Collins to injuries/suspensions when the result had already been sealed was unnecessary.

I got a selfie with him after the game. He lifted my phone above shoulder height and said, “Aww that hurts.”

                doesn't sound good.

Allan wasn’t on the bench, rather a reserve. Are you sure you’re watching the right games in your man cave?

The bench was Turpin, May, Wong and Baker.
