I know it’s a much inferior comp but the season Lachlan Lam and the Leigh Leopards are having is remarkable. 2nd on the ladder and now into the Challenge Cup final.

Did we not give this bloke enough of a chance? I think his big problem was that his game was too similar to Keary

Hutchinson actually played for Leigh, I don’t think he was a stand out.

At a minimum it’s nice to see an ex rooster and rare roosters junior doing well.

I will always be a big Locky Lam supporter, I feel like with us he was best used at 14 as his speed around the ruck was his strength.

Seems to have developed into a proper 7 over in SL, kicking game has improved out of sight.
Currently plays like the spitting image of his coach....

some players just suit that 14 role and he was one.

Going all the way back to Daniel Mortimer when he settled in to that 14 role I thought he was a weapon.

He played 2 seasons for Leigh. 35 games 13 tries so yes that league would suit him better.
I hope he goes back there and has some success.
I know he's a good guy and a trier but the NRL is not his go.

To be fair you don’t have to look further than Jackson Hastings and realise that some half backs need time to mature

England is a great place to develop halves cause the game is a little slower and there is less pressure.

If he comes back to the NRL you might find a way better player than the one that left the chooks
