There are times to take two and then there isnt .for my money I didnt like the penalty shot because we had them shot to pieces .They were tiring badly and just hanging in there if any thing it gave them a much needed breather and they manned up.

You would have thought about taking the tap, but then would take the two every single time. As for the idea that the set of six would have eaten up another minute, it wouldn't have eaten up any more time than what it took to take the kick at goal and for Saints to restart the game.

I honestly can't see how anybody would consider that the wrong option without the benefit of hindsight.

the penality coward gave away for back chat, was it the right descion to kick for goal.
we had a 6 point lead with 10 to go.
i would of had another crack at them for a set of six (approx 1 minute) , leave the ball in the in goal if you dont score and get the drop kick back for another set of six. theres 3 minutes gone. i know this is hind sight but. look at it. how many teams turn off after a field goal attempt.
i dont believe that pearce insisted on it instead of keeping on the pressure. we had the essendency and i believe we would have scored from that play. 12 point lead with 4 minutes left. the boys wouldnt drop off.

Of course it was fool. It put us up by 8.
