It will be interesting to see who Smithy will drop if Cordner is back next week.
On top of that, Mitchell is surely a must. How much would he have carved up in that final 20 minutes yesterday against a tired Dragons pack? For me Bosden is a permanent from now on. Taka and Arona are the guys to go. Once FPN gets back then Guerra is next in line if he doesn't pick up his game. Pity we don't have as much depth in the backline.

He gets involved a lot, which leads to decent stats, but what the stats don't show is that a lot of his runs include him cutting back inside and snuffing out attacking chances we would have had if the ball had continued to be spread wide.

Great work ethic, but suffers from always wanting to take a settler when we start to get on a roll. Plays safety first football so much that he seems to be unable to then switch into attacking mode.
Good post. He's unable to switch into attacking mode because he has no attack in his game. According to some though, he's our most lethal attacking weapon, with his ball playing at the line and offloading at will

“It’s the first time young (Tinirau) Arona has started and I thought particularly first half he was outstanding."

I didn't see anything wrong with Arona... we need to stop singling out individual players.. we did enough to win the match but lost it in a few minutes of madness.. no need to blame individuals.

You have to look at James Tamou
I guy who wanted a go went to Cowboys and developed its not like he took off in his first year - a paddo colts Jr to rub it in.
We preferred Willi Mason and the othet bulldog ****nuckles

Totally agree Billy, I thought he has been going well.

Mind you I think Bosden is even better again.

People look at Arona the same way they do with j. carney. There is a perception he is small and therefore hopeless.

                      A black Chad Robinson.

I like him, good work rate and tough as nails.

                      Chook.

I like Arona from an outsiders view. He does the little things that don't get noticed by all the supporters looking for the highlight plays.

I will take Arona over FPN. Arona is consistently average. FPN is below average for 4 games and then has a blinder every 5th game.

I believe there is a lot of skill there. He needs someone to follow him.

Didn't he win Newtown player of the year in 2010?

As Brain says, give him some time.

Good player. Every club needs a player like him. Reminds me of Daniel Conn, only more mobile.
