If he is only making 50 grand more a season he isn’t leaving Penrith.

I think they’re both good players but I don’t think they are bigger enough to be dominant halves winning comps.

        How about Cody Walker?

The Chooks would turn the 900k per season into 1M.
The challenge for Luai I think would be to try & win a comp at another big club like the Chooks away from Cleary.

It's a NO from me, I'd rather have Isaah Yeo.
Classic! Speaking of classic's u should be watching the original 1960's time machine. The modern one is lame in comparison.

I agree for an extra $50,000 he won't come here, after tax that's only around $30,000.
Not worth all the extra travel daily or the extra cost to move locally.

It's not as he needs to leave Penrith to chase a premiership.

He is Cleary's handbag and it was no coincidence the GF turned after he was replaced.
Most overrated player in the game.
Will do nothing without Cleary holding his hand.

Oh dear. Luai is a not a good fit for the club at all, in any conceivable way. You could put up with that level of dikheadness if he was an amazing player but he isn't.

He is ok and relies heavily on being Cleary's foil. Even the positives he would bring are not priorities for our team. Would make zero sense and can't see it happening.

If he were to leave the Riff, it would be to a desperate club on a disgusting amount of money. 1.2m plus. Think Dogs, Saints, Tigers, Titans. He isn't going to leave his hometown and his sanctum for an extra 100k a year.

As a player..he is good very good attacks the line all the time .Have a look at Kikao and Burton at bullchocks absolutely useless..they both played off him he made them look good.
As for buying him I would only say no only because I see a massive future for Sandin Smith..he should be kearys replacement.
as fir not liking him because of his antics behaviour?well we have Radley and JWH si should fit in.
Would nit upset me if he signs and dint care if he doesn't.

Rod Taylor's version is definitely a classic, but I also liked the modern re-boot as well (even though it got panned).
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
