I couldn't help myself. I watched the Ben Horby short restart in slow motion to see what actually goes wrong from this kick-off.

Cue Benny Hill music.....now

1. Nightingale outleaps two Roosters
2. Palms off SKD
3. Palms off Jake Friend
4. Anasta comes in to make tackle and gets stepped without a hand on him.
5. Nightingale throws long pass
5. BJ goes for ridiculous intercept attempt
6. Tagive trips over as Matt Prior comes towards him and tackles no-one.
7. Matt Prior strolls in for try as the rest of the Roosters chase hopelessly like a pack of under 6's

By my count 7 Roosters had a chance to shut this try down. I would laugh if I didn't feel like crying instead.

I doubt they were onside all match, in attack or defence. But that's a trait of the DragQueens, has been for years, and the refs have learned to turn a blind eye to it, under instructions from those who mentor them.

The worst part is the frontiners were asleep and Mini had to run from his fullback possie to attempt to catch it....Think about it near his line and is the only one there to go for it....sad shit...now if you had an alert Captain!!!!

Yes, it was all set to be one of the great club victories + at the expense of my beloved, petulant Coward...all taken away from me in a chaotic 5 minutes. The football gods can be cruel.

Poor captaincy - all was needed was leadership in telling your troops to stack the side where the ball was to be kicked - they knew it was on but incredible to not react
