  • Fat lady not singing just yet.

Amazingly we can still make the 8.
It would mean winning every game ofcourse
    Manly at the SCG
    Dolphins at Allianz
    Eels at Comm Bank
    Tigpies at Allianz
    Souffs at Accor...... or Allianz??
I just did the NRL ladder predictor and it is possible
How sweet would it be to knock Souffs out of the 8 in the last round?
The bookies must think we are still a rough chance,
we were 15 to 1 before the Titans game
then 8 to 1 before the broncos
    now 7.5 to 1.
Parra, Canberra, Cronulla all look shakey
surely we will beat Manly and the Fins, and after that?????

Small chance if Sam Walker plays and plays out of his skin.

No chance imo. Don’t mean to be a negative Nancy but we need to win ALL games and have other results go our way which I don’t see happening. Some tight bed shits have cost us.

Draw isn’t terrible but we are no shoe in against anyone. Even the tigers looked decent last night and probably would’ve beat us. Parra & Souths will be the big tests.

Souths have a soft draw and us beating them won’t knock them out of the 8 but we may be able to stop them from a top 4 finish.

Robbo has already ruled out Walker for the next couple of weeks.

I feel like Johns set us up/put the mock on us by saying last night that Parra beating us is key to them making the 8.

If there is no margin for error we're done, too easy to beat at any given moment.

          Sad but true.

            That's our season then!

Robbo isn't capable of turning things around plus there are a number of players in major form slumps!

I can't remember the last time these players scored more than a 5 for their performance. The Cheese played well against the Titans but that's about it.

              Teddy
              Suaalii
              Billy Smith
              Manu
              Keary
              Sandon Smith
              Radley
              Gus

              Have I missed anyone?

Even if results go our way and we win all our games our minus 110 is a bridge to far.
Sharks, Souths & Cowboys are on 26 points and Eels are on 24 points.
Except for the Sharks they all have a bye still

                It's not happening.

Let’s just hope with our year finishing early, and next years pre season starting early Robbo can get them to start 2024 season fast instead of peaking too late like usual.

I suppose our next greatest achievement will be to get through the rest of the season, and the pre season, without injury in order to have a fully fit team for round one.

But the law of averages in a code such as this will have something to say about that.

If we win them all we have 32.
Souths have Sharks in Perth, Dragons in Cairns and Knights in Newcastle, then a bye, then us.... they can lose 3 of those. that puts them on 30.
Raiders have Newcastle, Tigers, Storm, Bulldogs, Broncos and Sharks...... they can lose 4 of those and end up on 32 and we can jump them on f and a.
Eels have Dragons, Broncos, Us and Panthers plus a bye, they can lose 3 of those and end up on 28
Cronulla have Penrith, Souffs, Titans, Cowboys, Knights, Raiders......they can lose 5 of those and finish on 28
Cowboys have Titans, Broncos, Bye, Sharks, Dolphins, panthers......they can lose 3 of those and finish on 32, we need some big wins yto jump them

Anyway..... there are plenty of games which could make a difference, so it's not officially over until we lose another one.

That is exactly the scenario Easts face. It’s not officially over and anyone who has a good look at the draw can see that.
Based on the roosters form, very hard to see them winning all matches but it’s not impossible by any stroke.
Sharks def look most vulnerable to slip out but a couple of other teams look to have a slightly better shot than Easts to grab their spot. Knights looking hood as we speak.

Good point. There has to be something not quite right with our training programs/loads. If I were Robbo I would trying to be poach someone from Penriths inner circle. They have very minimal injuries in comparison.
