Jake is a great defensive 9 but doesn't have the fast play the ball and dynamic of 1 A Mitchell, Mitchell is almost as good in defense but gives Roosters superb ruck speed and option. Mitchell is quick between the ears and that is what Pearce needs to dominate @ 7.. Mitchell is our best 9, Ive said it all along..

I'd prefer Friend for the first 20 of the game up the middle, then Mitchell for the rest.

If Mitchell is on more money, then yes, he should be in the team. If Friend is on more money, then yes, heIshould be in the team. If they are on equal money, then they should get half a game each. Don't worry about that young kid that is killing them in the lower grades, he is on peanuts.
