Penalty count 7-2 Penrith’s way. They don’t need a leg up but they are getting one.
Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

Riff can do no wrong in the eyes of the refs 3 sets restarts to 2 and a 8-3 penalty count in their favour how can they not make it a threepeat.
Yes they’re a great side the most dominant I’ve ever seen anyway, how would they have faired if the 6 again era didn’t end ours and Melbourne’s dominance prior to Penrith becoming a powerhouse?

Penrith's Grind game of dominating field position and yardage would be just as effective pre set restarts

Pemriff are far superior to any other team in the comp. They are well coached, fit, fast and highly skilled and will likely win every game from now until the GF which they should also win handily.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

How would they have fared being on the wrong end of lopsided penalty counts every week rather than the receiving end? We are the only team to go back to back in spite of the bias week in and out.

Graham Hughes mentioned that circa 2014 after our premiership win. He couldn't believe the penalty counts against us in 2013 and before yet we still won.

We kinda need Souffs to beat the Sharks.

Go the Sharks...Mitchell is a turnstile in defence at fullback, doesn't seem to attract much criticism though.

If we win our next 3 there's every chance we could be playing Souffs in a knockout to make the 8.
