  • Roosters v Knights Round 9

What are your thoughts on next weeks match?
Knights have been looking lousy over the last few weeks, but will the signing of Mason boost them?
Whilst the Roosters have lost a heartbreaking loss to the Dragons. Who will win.

The thing that makes me the most nervous about it is that we're vsing Bennett.. who's had the wood over us big time.

Well, the thing is, all those times weve played a wayne bennett-coached team, the team has actually been good, in the top 4 and stuff. The Knights arent even in the top 8!

If they beat the Panthers they will leap frog us on the ladder.

Newcastle have not really impressed me at all much so I say us by at least 12, but I am delusional of course.

We can only hope they dont click against the Roosters.

I think if we can keep the form we kept on ANZAC we should run over the knights. Even if they do click there isn't alot for them to offer .... I shouldn't assume things with our boys though because we haven't exactly been the consistent type!!!

Ill be going to the game with the missus in bay 12 but I am not sure where the covered rows start from incase it rains.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If the boys want to play finals football they need to beat Newcastle next weekend.

We are no longer in the 8. And depending on how Canberra & Newcastle go we could end up in 12th position.

Next weeks game is a must win. I think the Roosters have a good record against the Knights.

Simply solution: produce the same intensity they put on against the warriors and the saint this season if not a one step forward, then points will take care of their position on the table.

2 Of Newcastle's losses have been revenge-fuelled losses to St Cheat. Both of the losses were about as close as our game vs St Cheat (who are also having a poor season.)

I wouldn't be too confident. Newcastle have Wayne + LOTS of star players... not that I'm scared of Boyd when Mini's playing like he did on Wednesday.

We'll be well rested... which could help. But eiter we'll lift + win by not much, or get thumped IMO.
