the fact suaali wont make out top 17 next year why would you keep him? Even if a team does not perform well you still can individually and at least show up which he wasn’t interested most of the year
his career will be as a mercenary going to the highest bidder
However his next contract may be a lot less

The thing is that most are looking to blame JS for the situation yet the Roosters must share in the blame because we gave in to his demands. We knew what they were and the possibility that they could blow up in our face. There were reports at the time that the Roosters thought that once he joined we would be able to convince him to stay. Obviously that didn't happen but we are not privy to any discussions had between JS and the club about him moving to union. You can hardly believe what's reported in the media.

If we want to be upset with JS then we need to be equally upset with the club for putting itself in that position.

SBW is also considered a mercenary yet I've seen it on this forum where some have referred to him as a club legend. I suppose time will tell how it ends for Joe, if he returns or even stays next year and contributes to a premiership, all will be forgiven!

I would expect however, that his current manager would have trouble getting any of his stable a gig at the Roosters.

I don’t think that is right. My understanding is that the Kings school offered him a scholarship & that’s when he started playing Rugby. He’s a Penrith junior & he would be deadly playing for them.
