He was very good for us that season plaing as the organising half
Yes pretty good reasons why Hutch is ahead of Smith at half. But you are using logic. Logic would say he should have been half since Sam was out. The team selection dartboard will likely mean Smith starts. Hutch's game last week was not a patch on his 2021 season. My tip for the weekend is Napa gets marched (if he actually gets a run).

It's Round 24 and how many games have the Dolphins played in Sydney? One. They've had 14 games in Queensland and won only one game (against Newcastle) anywhere else. How the hell did they get a draw like that?

I actually think the broncos have had a similarly cushy draw.
Just checked and they will play 17 games in QLD and only 7 away from QLD.

That's just ludicrous. They have to stop calling it a "draw", because it's not random in any way shape or form. It's a schedule, and it's manipulated to achieve any number of outcomes that the NRL finds desirable. That is usually in the form of desirable pre-determined match ups like the Anzac Day game, but it can also be used to attempt manipulate outcomes if you want to put the tin-foil hat on.

They will only be able to sort out the "draw" if they have the following when additional teams are added - Whether in a conference or division you will play the same teams the same number of times so no easy and or hard draw

18 Teams - 2 Conferences - 25 games - play each team in your conference twice and the other conference once - 225 regular season games

20 Teams - 4 Divisions of 5 Teams - 23 games - play each team once and teams in your division twice. - 230 regular season games

2023 with 17 teams - 24 games - play each team once and 8 teams twice - 204 regular season games.
