My biggest fear for all this is everyone interested in going needs to start planning and booking things now as prices will only get more expensive every day that goes by. We don’t yet have access to ticket sales event details or anything so we would be booking blind.

What if something goes wrong and this thing doesn’t even happen? I hope I’m wrong but I reckon there’s still a chance there won’t be a game there. Shyt, look at what just happened in VIC with the Comm Games. I know that’s a bit different but there’s a huge outlay pp for this event for us fans and if things go south, no one’s getting their dough back.

Im looking at it as a chance for a holiday in the States with the bonus of a couple of footy games thrown in.

Lets hope Tim Tszyu gets fight there that week as well.

If the schedule is similar to this year, NASCAR will be in town on that weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as well.

If everything works out, it’s going to be a hectic weekend!

I wish they would have made the games during school holidays. so I could have made a family trip.

If I was to go to this, which is a possibility,
I would fly American Airlines Business class, 13.5 hours non stop direct Brisbane to LA for $7.900 return.
Go in mid feb and stay for a month.
I was there back in 2004.

Agreed. That’s what a our only concern. This isn’t just a weekend trip. You will need at least 10 days to make it worthwhile with a couple of days written off for jet lag.

Has anyone been sent a package deal email from the Roosters for an inclusive trip yet?

The Broncos have sent out theirs. 5 nights including airfares return with exclusive access to the team run in Vegas and tickets to the game for $6399. That’s steep!

I’ll be shocked if they even offer a package deal.

              Well done to Brisbane.

At the risk of being a wet blanket, I wish we weren't involved in this promotion. After this under achieving year, its not the start we need in 2024. I think all 4 teams will take a hit in their seasons operations.

is the Fiji air flight direct? Cheapest I saw on google flights today for direct was Delta at $1670

                    Nah not direct

I'm weird though and i dont mind the stop over. It's 'only' 10hr 30min when I've flown previously from Fiji to LAX. I like a short break there. I appreciate 99% like direct flights

We can't get an injury update lol let alone anything like this.
Organising the best price available and what best suits your needs is easy. I really enjoy researching and booking things. My wife hates it and is happy to just rock up with everything done and planned. Anyone wanting to go once dates are released just sit down on google, open numerous accomodation tabs etc and start searching. Just dedicate a few hours to looking and booking..and in my experience dont book on weekends. Hopefully we get dates shortly

Sounds like a crap idea to me.

                          1. Losing a home game.
                          2. The jet lag.
                          3. The effect it will have later in our season.
4 The NRL won't give us the bye in round 2, souffs will get it and then we will probably play them in round 3.
                          5. No one in the states gives a rats.

Why not take trail games instead Abdo you moron? Would've made more sense to play a pre season comp there or the WCC.

I remember reading that it will be part of Round 1 which is spread over 2 weeks.

Thinking more about this I will give it a miss.
Long way to go to watch a loss, and the weather will be lousy,
I want to go back to America, but probably in May or June.
I've already experienced vegas 20 years ago, next time I'll go to Yellowstone.
