He's been on 850k since 2020 and has just been extended and upgraded to 2026 on 1 mil per season.

Two things things true at the same time, you can be well paid and you can be underrated. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Clearly the Warriors don't underrate him, but I think he's underrated by the general public and media. When there are discussions about the best prop/middle in the game proportionate to Tino or Hass for example his name is under represented.

JWH has been on a big wicket for a while but I think someone made this point last night, he has been underrated for so long. Never in the conversation for best prop in the game..

Joey Manu is on a big salary but I think he's underrated as him name is never mentioned when people are talking about the top echelon of fullbacks in the game...

You can be on a big salary and still be underrated.
