We beat them in rd 3 & are a good chance of beating them again in 2 weeks.
In the last 10 years South’s have won 13 Roosters 11 so I wouldn’t think we are their bitches.

I'm surprised Tallis has the hide to still be in the media after that.

        We will lap them!

We're playing well and they are in all sorts of trouble. They're in a big hole, big ears has lost the sheds and no Mitchell. We just need the Panthers to beat the Cowboys.

We won't win the comp but we are good enough to make the prelims.

With Parra beating Penrith , this may work in our favour as they may now not rest players next week against the cowboys with the minor premiership at stake. They will be wanting to end the season on a high heading into the finals. Once again , we win our next two and the rest will look after itself.

With Penrith, they will know before their game next week if the minor premiership is within reach. Brisbane play next Thursday night and have to win their last two. Either way it shouldn’t matter too much I hope as I don’t think the riff will wanna lose two in a row at home on the eve of finals. We still just gotta win as you said.

We need to win our 2 remaining games and hope that Penrith beat the Cows. I can't see the Dolphins beating the Cowboys.

I think Penrith losing last night works against us. Assuming Brisbane win this week and next, Penrith can only finish second at best so suddenly apart from pride, they won’t have too much to play for next week. Of course they’d like to enter the finals with a solid win, but if they want to, they can rest some players.

Or hope Canberra lose both! If arsie Canberra jag a win this weekend, then the minor premiership comes right into play for the Panthers...so changes mindset perhaps. But I don't think Penrith will want to go into the finals on the back of two loses regardless. They will want to get confidence with a new halves pairing before the finals.

                    • The old one game at a time sporting phrase comes to mind - need to concentrate on Wests Tigers and see how the rest of the round pans out and re-assess then

Yes, besides us they are the best chance of finishing our run.

If raiders lose to Broncos and sharks next week, both very likely results, and we beat tigers and souths, cowboys result doesn't matter. We jump both raiders and south and are in the 8. Go Fitzys sharks!

You don't have a pulse if you're not thinking about the last round against Souffs and a potential finals birth after a dogs breakfast of a season,

                              • raiders losing the next two is the most likely route but if the phins beat the cows then it becomes simple - we win the next two and we're in
