Right now we have to win both out games.
    THEN
we need the Cowboys to lose to Penrith
    OR
The Raiders to lose to Brisbane AND Cronulla
    OR
Newcastle to lose to Cronulla AND St George.

A win to the Raiders today REDUCES our chances.
I reckon we will have a fair idea by the end of today.

Next week, Newcastle won’t lose to Saints, Fitzy’s Sharks will give it to the Raiders and the Cows could easily upset Penrith, who should be playing safety first footy to reduce the chance of injury and putting Cleary in cotton wool now that Luai is injured. I’m sure the Premiership will be more important to them than the MP. Oh, and we have to beat Souths, who are always up for us regardless of form. Our best chance is for the Broncos to win tonight.

    Go the Broncos.

How? Listen to Robbo talk about Sam Walker. Gobbledygook, pseudo psychobabble rambling. I can't listen to him anymore and feel sorry for the players who have to 6 days a week.

The only incentive I see for Penrith to go hard against the Cowboys is if the MP is on the line and that means the Raiders need to beat the Broncos.

The good thing is there are a few ways we can make it and not relying on only one outcome but we still need to win both first.
I understood that was your basis, BUT. the Minor Premiership will still be on the line if brisbane win,
because Penrith have an 88 point better for and against than Brisbane right now.
So if Melbourne beat Brisbane, Penrith still need to beat the Cowboys,

The only problem I see with that is Penrith won’t know what they need to do until after their team is finalised because Broncos/Storm is on Thursday night.

They need to make a decision on team selection before knowing what they are playing for.

While a Broncos win tonight keeps our season alive, I also don’t think a Raiders win ends it or makes it any more difficult.

I get it, but pointless unless we win both our games anyway, starting today.
I don't think Penrith will be resting anyone against the Cowboys.

            • couple of favourable results this weekend means cronulla have a home final to play for in their game v canberra so if we win on fri and either canberra or cows lose, we're in

I think we lost the plot when he continued playing musical chairs with our halves, centres and wing. We needed to just get on with it not experiment which should be for trials and pre season.

The odds are with us making it now. The footy gods have smiled. We just need to nail our assignment this Friday. I'm feeling ok about it.

                        • Broncos vs Storm - Thursday 7:50 pm - Storm could rest players as they cannot finish lower than 4th ? - Not sure that the Bronco's will rest players though - The result of this game will have a bearing on what Penrith do with their 22 player squad.

The Penrith v Cowboys game will be played with finals type intensity. I hope Panthers bring their A game!

I don’t think the panthers want to go into the finals with 2 losses in a row so I’m sure they will want to win this.

                            • I think we can win Fri...that we can have some control over.
The rest lands where it does and we make it or came close

This season was disrupted....is that an excuse ???
Dunno but through all the mess we know we have a very handy side for next year.....if they stay fit, calm down the idiot stuff and play on their right spots.
