As I have said before, Robbo is a paid professional & has to lift his game or see ya later
Your hoping against hope that Coach Robinson will be removed though no matter how much you want it to happen

Somethings can't be addressed such as injuries and form of players - there is no magic wand that a coach can wave to reduce injuries and or put a player back into form.

Just like in a workplace when an employee is not meeting KPI's or the Standards required - no magic wand either - they are put on a PIP (Performance Improvement Program ) and provided with training/coaching/mentoring and support to improve their performance

The Squad no doubt will come under review as far as depth to cover for injuries goes - if you have a light injury toll most teams can cover this - it's when you have players out for blocks of 5 games or more that tests your squad depth.

    Roosters had 10 such players - Toops/Billy Smith/Momirovski/Toia/Crichton/Lodge/Sitili/Brandon Smith/Watson/Walker

Big Jack Gibson was a coach that rarely played a replacement player in back to back games

Season review will look at a range of other things i.e pre-season/game week prep/ individual player performance and development / team performance and as I said the make up of the squad etc etc

22 players officially signed for the top 30 squad - 2 to 4 others to be added - so from 4 to 6 spots in the top 30 available if 30 are signed.

Plus all 6 Development contracts and extended bench contracts - notwithstanding signing up players for the standalone NSW Cup Side

      No wrong.

I'm not hoping for him to get sacked. I'm hoping he can turn us around & stop this decline the last 2yrs.

If he can't then he isn't the man anymore.

We aren't just a little bit bad because of injury or not having a full 30 man squad. We are worse than last year & run bottom 3 in pretty much all stats.

The real question is how long will you support declining coaching & mediocrity if it's more of the same next year?

knights beating dogs puts another nail in our coffin. looks like maybe a victory over souths in the last round and stopping them from making the semis might be the best we can take out of the season but so long as we're a mathematical chance there's hope so you never know

The knights Souths game is a huge one next week, if south win, they make the 8.

cows, raiders and knights are the vulnerable teams that could slip out of the finals with roosters and Parra needing to get 6 points from the last 3 rounds to have a slither of hope.

loser of parra /roosters is out after next Friday night.

            5. Sharks (30) plus 27 - Cowboys / Knights/Raiders
            6. Raiders (30) minus 120 - Bulldogs / Broncos / Sharks
            7. Knights (29) Plus 110 - Souths / Sharks / Dragons
            8. Souths (28) Plus 92- Knights / Bye / Roosters
            9. Cowboys (28) Plus 32- Sharks / Dolphins/Penrith

            10 Eels (26) Plus 21 - Roosters / Penrith /Bye
            11.Roosters (26) minus 84 - Parramatta / Wests Tigers / Souths

Penrith and Brisbane may rest players in the last 2 rounds - Brisbane have a bye and Penrith play the Titans next round - Both 4 points in front of third place Warriors and 6 in front of 4th Place Storm

Coincidentally the Cowboys play Penrith in the last round the same as last year when Penrith rested 15 of their 17 players

There are a stack of possibilities still. The Sharks are capable of losing all 3 remaining matches. Newcastle could easily lose 2 of their last 3 but could also win all of them. Souffs could lose both their remaining games. Canberra will be lucky to win more than 1 of their remaining 3.

The Roosters have to keep winning. That's probably the biggest query of the lot!

Looks a lot more possible now.
Moses out for Parra and they have been poor lately.
Tigers not easy beats on their recent form but we should get them.
Souffs very vulnerable, it will come down to that.

Canberra look gone , could lose 2 of their remaining 3.
If we win our 3 we will jump them on F and A.

Cowboys have 2 loseable games in Sharks and Panthers.
We could sneak into 7th place.

Depends on whether they want to rest players, or have a shot at the minor premiership.

Minor premiership doesn't really give much of an advantage and finishing 2nd would probably be up against the Warriors.

I hope. However they have us, the Riff and a bye. They've also got the PD on us as ours s*x.

The way I see it we probably have to win our remaining 3 games (Eels, Tigpies and Souffs). We are fortunate to be playing Souffs and Eels as this means that our destiny is in our own hands.

                          However...

                          - Sharks and Raiders are already on 30 so it's a big ask to catch them (they'd have to lose every remaining game, which they won't).

                          - Cows and Rabbits are on 28. Similar scenario.

                          - Knights have that bloody 29 (I hate draws).

                          - Faders are on 30 but somehow have a worse PD than us so if they lose 2 (e.g. against the Broncos and Sharks) we could catch 'em

                          --- Then ---

                          - Cows play Souffs

                          - Sharks play Cows

                          - We play the Eels and Souffs

                          - Knights play Sharks

                          - Sharks play Faders

                          ---

I dunno what maths I wanna see but I think we're relying on the Bunnies, Eels, Knights (and maybe Sharks/Faders) doing shyte. In reality I think...

                          - Sharks and Faders are probably safe unless they lose all 3 (they won't).

                          - The 29 for Knights might as well be 30... we're not gonna catch them unless they lose 2 of their final 3 (Bunnies, Dragons and Sharks... okay so they could but it'd come at the cost of the Sharks/Bunnies winning, which we don't want either)

                          - IMO what we WANT if for the Knights to beat Souffs this week and then for us to win our final 3. It's really just a mathematical possibility now but we're a proud club and I wanna see us give the last 3 rounds a serious crack no matter what.

I’m just enjoying every game, every week. As long as we keep winning it’s all good - the longer our season goes the better. ‘Cos the alternative is an early, long hot summer of boring freakin CRICKET and no footy to look forward to until March !

                              Go the mighty chookies.

Well fuuk it, I think we can make it,
I just put $300 on us at $7.50.
If we make it I pickup $2,250
If we don't make it I lose $300
                                no big deal.
