Roosters by 1 because the signing of Willie Mason will make it hard for the roosters forwards.
Also the halfback position for State of Origin Blues will be looming and this is the chance for the halves to step up, so we will see a big battle between Pearce and Mullen.

I'm tipping a win but expecting a loss. I never want to go into a game expecting a win or my hopes can get too easily dashed.

If the boys are fired up over last week, i expect our pack to dominate field position once again

Whether we can crack the Bennett defence though is an issue...

True that. Even though the knights are 10th (or higher depending on tomorow) their defensive record is great, and our attacking record is poor.

              Knights.

Mason will do a "The coal train Dave Taylor" and run over the top of our lightweight and not much attack forwards and backs...as the Dragons did.
..along with the rest of Bennett's hyped-up-for-this-battle players.
"I feel like chicken tonight" Knights supporters' banner likely to appear again.

Uate will stroll down the sideline all night scoring one try after another.

              Who's going to stop them?
No one if our team is not changed from last week.
When was the last time we beat the Knights?

              BJ to the wing.
Carney to centre...or Maubs to centre.
Mose to start the game...every big forward we have to start the game, props in the halves, anything.
Props in the second row, plugging up the middle of the field...unlike the Dragons game.
"Don't fall for their dummies, tackle the man with the ball"..."and kill the ball".

I do sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Pity the same can't be said about our defence.

Not much good dominating field position if our players have no idea in attack and keep dropping the ball all the time.
If Pearce had passed the ball out along the backline instead of hogging it in front of the posts against the Dragons we probably would've scored.
Then his great try near the dead ball line would've won us the game.

Our defence can be horrible at times, but the knights have scored nearly the least amount of points in the past 8 weeks. They have scored 103 points i think, while the Eels have scored 129 i think. Yes, we have horrible defensive games and we can be inconsistent and we can let points slip when we are having bad days, judging by the statistics, the Knights attack is just as bad

Put Masoe & JWH on Mason, Mason doesn't like big men, unless they are putting sun cream on his back!

                        The saying goes;

"Never change a winning team"....not "never change a losing team".

I'd rather Tasi, Arona and Carntey to hit Wilbur. Smaller centre of gravity, targeting that ribcage with big shots from below, like a nice uppercut rip to the midsection. Definitely gotta sort Wilbur out early cos if you let him dominate he will rip and tear.

That said JWH and Mose could do a similar job, but I suspect Wilbur will try to run wider of the ruck at our 1/2s and at Friend if he can.

Maybe Maubs will be needed to hurt him or BJ, he looks like he likes to put a shot on and will be a better chance wider of the ruck.

                          The FlogPen .

                          You know it makes sense.

That to me is very sad mate, and you certainly are not the only one on here with that low expectation of the Roosters. That way of thinking imo is like a cancer and takes you down to the level of $ouff$! I don't blame you or the others on here infected with the low expectation disease, i blame Roosters management and coaching (if you can call it that) standards since 2005 for allowing things to sink so low to allow the mentality of believing that this is acceptable!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                              Here's looking at you, kid.
