  • Injury update Crichton back to full training

The Sydney Roosters NRL squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following their Round 24 clash with the Dolphins.

There were no injury concerns for any players that featured in the match.

Sam Walker made a successful return to play for the North Sydney Bears in NSW Cup on Sunday, playing a full 80 minutes after recovering from an ACL sprain.

Angus Crichton has resumed full unrestricted training after completing his rehabilitation for a moderate grade MCL injury sustained in Round 17.

Naufahu Whyte has recommenced modified training with the squad as he continues to rehabilitate his knee, while Paul Momirovski has resumed non-contact training.

He can go to Reggie’s until he sorts his issues out, He’s been a waste of cap space this season.

Sounds like Crichton is a likely inclusion for Friday night against the Eels.

Agree, his impact has been zero this year. Nothing to miss.

I'm glad he's getting help and I hope he makes a full recovery. As a player in 2023 he is a shadow of his 2022 season.

Perhaps I should have added this in as well In saying that I know I have said this previously about Angus and or anyone else who has suffered mental health issues

Thats great news to have Gus back in the mix at this time of year.

Just wondering though our left edge with Kez, Butch and Billy are getting some rhythm happening Interesting to see what Robbo does.

Getting Angus,Egan and possibly Sammy Walker back this week is massive!

I’m confident of beating the Eels, our record against them is pretty good..

I’m assuming Egan & Brown are back this week so surely Angus spends at least one week in reserve grade.
