Cam Cherry.

Given more time to lose weight, get fit, and hone his skills, he could've been a good player for us.

If memory serves me correct Cam Cherry was signed in 1988 after the succesful 87 season.

Along with Cherry, they signed a player called Bill Dart, those 2 were meant to be next big things.

PS I have a feeling Dally Cherry -Evans comes from the same area as Cam in Qld...would not surprise me if they are related ...if so is it fair to say we busted the wrong ... Cherry ...
