Who cares lol. Just want the Roosters season to continue for as long as it can because even though they have been ordinary for most of the season, watching them play remains a highlight of my week.

I'm just picturing Ray with his South's jersey in the last game so Robbo doesn't get any recognition for making the 8.

I don't think anyone believes Robbo has had a good year and we are all very disappointed in where we sit on the table.

The fact that fifty percent of the competition makes it into the finals is so very wrong. Any team that just misses out on getting into the finals is consequently led to falsely believe that they did sort of alright. They didn't.

Any team that finishes ninth or lower is technically a below average team in regard to their performance and their ability to compete. There should be only four teams that make the finals, the top four teams of the competition, but there is not enough television advertising dollars to be made in such a shorter finals series.

RC has been on forums like these for a couple of decades, he is a genuine supporter.
We all react differently to disappointment. Anyone who wants to say Robbo is responsible for our current state has a right to voice their opinion. His team selections this year tend to back that up.
I don't agree with everything that "Ray" has to say, but I defend his right to say it because he is NOT a troll.
I remember a few years back when he tried to make an effort to be positive, but still got attacked by a lot on here.
Give him a break.

We deserve to make the 8 equally as much as the raiders, Souths, or any of the other also rans that will be making up the numbers come finals time.

honestly the NRL should go back to a top 5 and expand the season by 1 round. We are getting no benefit out of those 2 extra finals games

Spot on, mediocre sides playing finals is absurd, top 4 only....this would of course be the consistent (the ones losing most to origin) sides, rewarded with a finals berth...dud sides like us...well always next year.

With the injury toll and players not performing at their usual level it is the season it is.

Not once did they have their possible best 17 on the field as a combo - You certainly need your possible best 17 especially your 13 playing the bulk of the games across a season and a favourable injury toll

11 players missing 5 or more games in blocks of games does put a lot of pressure on the squad depth.

If you look at teams in the 8 especially the top part of the 8 they have squad players that play a handful of game which are spread out across the season - their possible best 17 have played the bulk of the games so far - a light injury toll

People bang on about Suaalii playing centre but who did they have in mind to play left centre noting that Billy Smith only returned round 10 - Paul Momirovski returned round 8 and and played only 2 games before he was injured. - Toia was out to until recently if he was to be an option

This site blows up deluxe whenever the Hutchinator and Allan played centre and or NRL at all.

Prop rotation was thrown out of whack when Lodged was injured first game and missed 5 games then lost interest when he returned- so basically running with 2 established props in JWH/Collins - Whyte/May/Baker as back ups

Very easy to bash up the Coach but I don't believe posters are taking into account the above.

Best squad is debatable but of course you need this so called best squad available for the bulk of season which hasn't been the case - see my previous posts regarding the squad - games played and games missed

I agree that Robbo doesn’t deserve to make the 8 this year. Robbo has been very disappointing this year.

I’m sure come game day Ray will, like the rest of us on here, be hoping the team wins.

the ironic thing is that if we happen to squeeze into the 8, we will have some momentum finally behind us and may jag a win in the first play off game. But even if that happens, that shouldn’t mask the poor year that Robbo has had so far. We should be comfortably in the top 4.

we should beat a Moses-less eels this Friday but we are just as likely to lose the game.

What's the difference if its 9 or 13 teams have nothing to play for . The comp is lopped sided and always has and will be . For me top 4 or 5 at most. Otherwise, it's like at the show. Every child wins a prize

I think most of us hate Crowe more than anyone associated with the game. (I know I do). Ray likely chose that example to show his depth of despair at our performance this season. He obviously largely blames Robbo, and is not alone there either. I'm sure Ray loathes Crowe like the rest of us.

I look upon it as tough love from a battle hardened Easts stalwart. He just has an eccentric way of expressing it.
