Sadly it's gotta be Allan. Not a huge fan of his but he has filled in there this season and is a natural centre. He was signed for moments exactly like this. Squad depth.
Hutch has been excellent in his natural role as an organising half (who would've thought a bloke playing in his natural position would be good for their game), he is a passenger in the centres and he doesn't deserve to be put there to be shown up purely because our coach wants to try and make him an Aubo clone. He is nowhere near Aubo's value as a utility, just like Aubo is nowhere near Hutch's kicking game and playmaking. Someone should tell Robbo this.
JS looks a different player on the wing, I read somewhere he has scored 21 tries on the wing and 2 in the centres. The more I watch him I genuinely think he should changing codes to AFL given his catching/leaping ability. On the wing, he is a weapon. The centre experiment must never occur again so long he is in our colours.
Toia would be good but Robinson notorious for being conservative with youth, especially in a must win game. He won't get much of a look-in this season. Pauga would be ahead of him also.
As much as I am considered a "Hutch hater" by the uninformed bots on the forum, I would rather Sam play NSW Cup again this week and Hutch stay 7 than have Sam play 7 and Hutch move into the centres. Hutch being away from the centres is best for the team and his form in the halves has justified that he can hold the fort until Sam is good to go and Teddy can return.
Has there been precedent this season of a player getting a Cat 1 and then playing the following week?
No report on Toops injury wise

That rules him out. He’s had more than five previous concussions I believe?
Roll the dice, blood Robbie Toia…..our season is screwed anyway. Couldn’t do any worse than Hutch, Allan or Gussie….he could well be a diamond in the rough in FG.
We have a chance to make the 8...which in itself would be a miracle given the debacle the season had been.
We need to make the least number of changes possible.
Sandon Smith to FB, Turpin to the bench.
Suaalii must not be moved.
Manu must not be moved.
Allan is an experienced FB.
Allan to FB.
Who changed Teddy's concussion classification from grade 2 to grade 1?
Teddy could be independently assessed and cleared to play.

Yeah and that's the path of least resistance. Don't want Suaalii back in the centre and Hutch is going well in the half-back role, so best to implement an interim option at right centre and leave the rest of the side "as-is".
Paul Momirovski would've been my other preferred option but I'm not sure what the latest is with his injury/rehab.
They are still deep in rehab on his can't tackle injury
We have to get this right.
To have any chance of making the 8, and making our season a sort of success, we must beat the new and greatly improved Wests, who would love nothing better than to take our scalp and make it 2 wins in a row..."do it for Benji" and all that.
West will be no pushover, they won their last match and beat the Cowboys 66-6 earlier this season.
Big, strong, fast Islander players in their team.
