I don't know whether Smith will win us a premiership or not. What I do know is that something had to change within our club, and like or hate him Smith will be that change!
We've all hinted that we need a cleanout = Smith will do that. We've all said our youngens need developing and we need effective game plans that play to our strengths = Smith can do that.
Sure he screws with heads and he's been voted as the coach the players least want to be coached by, good, I dont' want these guys to have a mate coaching, I want a coach coaching!
I hope Fittler stays on the coaching staff and learns. But I applaud Nic Politis for putting the club above his friendship with Fittler.
