John Ibrahim is bringing rent a crowd with him then, like Russell Crowe and his Souths recruits Pamela Andersen and Eva Mendes. This from Danny Wiedler's column on Sunday in the Herald:
"FM radio king Kyle Sandilands is being recruited into the Roosters fold by the man known by many as the ''King of the Cross'' - John Ibrahim. The 2Day FM host has just moved in across the road from Ibrahim in Dover Heights - right in the heart of Roosters territory. Sandilands has never been a sports nut and has no real love for the NRL - but Ibrahim, a keen Roosters supporter, wants to change that. ''Kyle has no choice,'' Ibrahim said. ''He is now officially a Roosters man and I'll be dragging him along to the games and teaching him the finer points of league. It's about time he learned about league because it's a great game to watch.'' Ibrahim was at the Anzac Day game against the Dragons - he never misses that game. He was seen hugging Roosters head honcho Nick Politis. The Roosters chairman loves having Ibrahim as one of his key supporters and will welcome Sandilands despite his bad boy reputation.""Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

Nick P was once the strength at the Roosters. Unfortunately I suspect he has now become one of their biggest weaknesses. He seems more interested in his entourage and his supporters than the future success of the club. And some of the 'personalities' he is associated with aren't exactly top notch either.
And Bouris is no better. He and Politis do not have a good track record when it comes to making the right decisions for the good of the Club recently.
I doubt Packer has the time for the Chooks. And I'm not sold on Gyngell either.
I suspect that Politis is determined to keep control of his personal fifedom that is the Chooks until death they do part. So we just need to accept that, because I can't see much changing.
NCSupporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

Throwing millions into it, resulting in 1 premiership in 20 odd years of involvement, doesn't exactly give Politis a free pass to run the club however he wants (which at the moment is into the ground) for however long he chooses.
A true roosters fan would continue to pump his money into the club without the caveat of demanding complete control for the privilege.
Nick Politis did great things for the club during the super league era (along with Kerry Packer), but that has now passed. Dedicate a home game to him, throw an annual parade for him, put a bloody statue of him out the front of the club for all I care, but for gods sake let somebody else take the reigns for a while

An imposter that came here for a few quick bucks
Opes walked of his own accord and was not paid out, first grade coaching was well past him in 2007 and it hit him like a tonne of bricks when he realised and accepted it. Brian Smith is on the precipice of very similar IMO.

I'd like to see celebrity apprentice Rooster boardroom style.
But instead of Mark Bouris pointing his finger to say "Your Fired!!!", he rather pulls out a 44 magnum instead and puts one through their foreheads. I want steve Noyce to play as well. I could even buy a blu-ray directors cut version of this including extra gore/ violence as well. The kiddies will love it, prime time TV if gyngell decides to air it.

Whats this one premiership bullshit, yes its been one but how about we tell the whole story ppl
1980, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2010....So now its his fault the team lost 5 on his watch lol
ppl can spin as much shit as they want the facts are we have been to 6 GF's under his watch along with Easts obtaining a massive property portfolio.
The biggest thing for me is that he has devoted countless years of his life and time to the club, he poured and bought millions to the club.
The biggest thing of all is he has never tried to buy the club????? He is fan #1
Lets compare to Crowe, he tipped some loose change into the club he then said for that to continue he wants a say, which meant he bought that club for 3mill and then a couple of years later he tells the faithful that cant continue they the fans needs to tip in more via their membership!
Some of u guys are very narrow minded and one eyed... I for one respect and appreciate the guy" A man can only walk as far as he can see"
