Candidates -The only one I can think of and he has the passion for them is James Packer and he should be groomed for it now .He will hire and appoint the smartest CEO in the business to run the joint-go Bondi Easts...lol
Geez, James Packer is only interested in Casinos these days, which is an easy, lazy way to make money, basically he's the classic lazy son of a rich bastard, leave him out please!! (Although some might say he'd be right at home at the Bondi Junction Casino!!)

I would've thought Bouris was the obvious one to succeed when Nick hangs up the Board Room mini bar keys, Gyngell could be a possibility depending on what happens to CH9, all I know is that the place has been run a hell of alot better than when Emperor Jones held the reins, some of the decisions he made would blow your mind!!! I'll happily keep the devil we know in Uncle Nick, than the devil we don't!

Many have come on here and disapproved of Chris anderson's appointment of coach in 2007, and so do I .

However I disagree when people say that he is not a good coach. All you young kids who post hollow facts should go and take a look in the history books. He took a number of sides from the death to premiership glory. The bulldogs would not be the club they are today, had chis anderson not taken over all those years ago.

He is a far more statisctically better coach than smith and had he had a good list of recruits and a sharp attitude then we may had actually gone somewhere.

Anyway that's another post for another thread, just food for thought.

Didn't James Packer when he was on the board, very rarely even turn up for board meetings ?

Bouris I've just always had trouble thinking of him as a genuine Rooster, wasn't he originally a Bulldogs man who later Nick had come on board ?

Gyngell is a genuine passionate supporter ......think I'd be more at ease with him handling the reins.

Not sure if there are any other potential future candidates to fill the big chair ?

Before Anderson came to the club I always had the impression he hated Easts with a passion. He used to always bag the club in the media. When we signed him I felt sick! He only came to coach us for the money. His heart was never really in it (no pun intended!).
