How many chances can one player get? He’s been with us for how many seasons now and bar the first maybe part of the second he hasnt delivered much but taking up a fair bit of the cap.

He is WELL down the pecking order of forwards now.

I agree with that but he has a contract so he won’t be going anywhere so it’ll be interesting to see if he can get back to his best. It’s been very disappointing no doubt, but his recent injuries coupled with his diagnosis haven’t helped.

600K is still well overs based on current form. Hopefully that changes next season.

Meanwhile Naufahu Whyte celebrated his return from a MCL injury with a try, a linebreak, four tackle busts, 156 metres and 22 tackles — one miss.

For me Whyte needs to be selected before Angus. I know Gus has the runs on the board and the experience but he is just struggling to inject himself and work rate is atrocious. Maybe he is still carrying injury? But those stats are dismal from him in a grade he should clearly dominate.
Yeh that’s not the response you want to see from Gus in reserve grade. Really sad to see as I thought Crichton had his best ever season last year, ended the year looking like he had finally mastered the role of a second rower. Hope he’s doing ok.

I would be picking Whyte ahead of him.

Might be better off to flick him over to Rugby Union.

Give him a break away from NRL and the Roosters. He's accomplished a fair bit in the NRL already, premiership, State of Origin, World Cup ... might be in need of a sea change and since Union missed out on Cam Murray maybe Angus is a back up pick to consider.

I wish him all the best but unfortunately, for me, he's done.
