JWH deserves a suspension but 6-8 weeks is ridiculous. There wasn’t much in the hit on Api and the head but was stupid but there wasn’t that much force.

I thought he would be getting a 2-3 week stint but that’s insane from the MRC. Makes a bit of a mockery of Latrell’s 1 match suspension for striking..

The NRL anti roosters vendetta ramps up. 8 weeks - that's up there with jaw breaking and eye gouging. The other poster on this thread was spot on predicting the NRL would retaliate for Robbo calling out their bias targeting JWH and Rads. And they've done so emphatically.

I'm reminded what a herculean performance it was by us to win 3 premierships recently against the most shameful biased officiating and MRC corruption.

Anyway, rugby league as we used to know it ended with our B2B titles before Vlandys took over and turned the game into a sideshow.

BTW, I just got on to Souffs for next week at $1.95, you should all do the same. Klein and Sutton will be appointed as the NRL cannot risk us finding a way into the finals.

Come on there is no giant vendetta against JWH and the Roosters the majority of this suspension is the accumulation of continued dumb acts from JWH, the guy is a Roosters legend but is also becoming a liability with his complete inability to maintain composure.

He deserves some time off and I was expecting about 3 weeks but not 6-8.

Head butt cop it sweet, can't argue against it with the TV footage but I thought he would have got 2 weeks with an early plea.
Head high tackle was expecting a fine or 1 week for an early plea for a careless tackle charge.

He is getting a liability now, he isn't the player he was so tries to bully his way through a game now which is costing us.

Those saying it's a vendetta from the NRL against us and JWH are dreaming, JWH has been lucky to get away with so many fines the last few seasons which could have easily seen him suspended instead.

I have no problem with it, it’s the loading from repeated offences that has led to the length of the suspension.

No dispute from me over how incredibly dumb it was from JWH and I understand the loading side but can someone please explain how on earth they graded his glancing late shot with no force and Kotoni’s elbow the same???

Like cmon! That’s a piss take, no consistency whatsoever. We need to challenge the grading of that.

With loading too, how can it go from a fine, then straight to 3 weeks. That’s crazy.

Also out of curiosity, what did Hetherington get for his slap a few rounds back? Because I’d prefer a little head nudge than to get open handed.

People are forgetting that it's all in the loading. Need to stop blaming the MRC and blame the cause - JWH himself. His actions were dumb and totally unnecessary. No one was hurt but the precedent had already been set earlier this year.

The late shot wasn’t a grade 2. It was chest contact on shoulder and it was late - grade 1 or penalty sufficient imo. Look at Kotoni’s elbow and tell me the two contacts are even in the same realm, they aren’t.

Also whatever happened to ‘third man in’ getting punished. If Stefano doesn’t go after JWH, nothing else happens.

It’s easy to put blame on the outcome, why don’t we look at the cause. Stop it from happening before it’s begun.
