Look what this place has become. Frankly, you don't deserve to have had Jared play for the team you "support". All the blood he's spilled for you, and the results he's gotten for you? You don't deserve those either. He plays how he plays, and sails close to the wind. You might have worked that out by now. These things happen sometimes with Jared. Overall, his incredible contribution has served us very, very, very well. The greatest prop of the NRL era. I reckon he's probably be disappointed with last night. Not the win of course (unlike some of you), but that 30 seconds where things went a bit wrong. 99% of the time though, things go better with Jared than they do with any other prop who's played the game.

You need your props to be aggressive and intimidating and sometimes they take it too far; that’s just what they do. If JWH didn’t sail so close to the wind for so many years, he wouldn’t have been as dominant as he’s been. He puts the opposition in two minds; if you run at Jared you never really know the outcome of the tackle, with a real possibility of being sent to Disneyland. Either way, you will know you’ve been hit hard. He’s been getting plenty of fines over the last couple of years being the tough guy that we’ve needed, so it was just a matter of time before a suspension.

It is immature play from an older player and he has let the team down. It was complexly unnecessary and we should not have resigned him as he has always had too many penalties in him.

Mostly agree with this. Collins has been our best player all year, by a long, long way. May has been exceptional of late, but I’m not sure that Baker has been outperforming JWH. He improved, but I’m still not sold on him.

We are, however, allowed to vent our frustrations on stupid actions that may stop us from playing finals footy.

It was dumb. Coach knows it, we know it, and as of the time the charges dropped he knows it as well.

Exactly. Just because you call out a player stupidity on the forum doesn’t mean you respect them any less.

I love Jared and he will go down as one of our best EVER front rowers but the decision to take out someone like that with the game well and truly won and a BIG game next week lacks football smarts. Actually lacks general intelligence all round. We will lose a lot of experience if we somehow jag a finals berth even with a number of our young pigs firing.

Some people on here just feel the need to abuse others to fill some sort of void in their miserable lives.

JWH is my second favourite Rooster of all time (Moz #1), but I think even he would agree that he made some poor choices last night that let himself, the team and the fans down.

You could tell Collins was pretty pissed at him when he was dragging him away from Stefano during the push and shove.

But what's done is done, and through the Roosters dynasty there has always been the 'next man up' philosophy, and so it shall be again next week.

Did I say Wong deserved to be dropped? It’s not the team I want it’s the team I think will be selected. Robbo loves Egan and I reckon he will select him. Egan has more experience than Wong and Wong only got his starting gig when Egan was out with concussion.

I don’t have to live in a fantasy world Mate. Ask the many people on here who know me. I’m a very happy and satisfied person who loves life. I don’t have a need to fantasise.

Spot on. All these clowns whining about him
when he has been doing it for 14 years. Without his menace we would NOT have won those 3 premierships. They will all be banging on about how much of a legend he is when he eventually plays his 300th game. It’s what he is, a badass and he ain’t changing.
To be Frank he has been shafted by the souffs apologists at the NRL. Once Fat boy was suspended there was no way JWH would be objectively judged.

I have always preferred Egan coming on through the middle. Hope Robbo sees it the same.
