Bloody hell this is a tough one
as much as we love jwh has let his team down big time
could have easily pulled out and not head butted
even Collins shoved jwh away when he was still heated - most likely saying pull your head in there are bigger games ahead
He stepped over the line here and at the wrong time of year

expect Gus or maybe Whyte to come in

You don't deserve those either. He plays how he plays, and sails close to the wind. You might have worked that out by now. These things happen sometimes with Jared. Overall, his incredible contribution has served us very, very, very well. The greatest prop of the NRL era. I reckon he's probably be disappointed with last night. Not the win of course (unlike some of you), but that 30 seconds where things went a bit wrong. 99% of the time though, things go better with Jared than they do with any other prop who's played the game.

Show some respect. He's earned it.
Maybe Jared should have taken your advice.

It was dumb and us fans aren't happy about it. I'm sure his teammates aren't overly happy about it either.

Yes we all love jwh but everyone knows that was dumb and immature from him, he is 34 and supposed to be a leader / Lindsay Collins was getting into him after
it was reckless and pointless near the end of a game where the opposition were no chance
and at this end of the season potentially cost his team finals and or moving further into the finals
so as much as he is a club legend this was down right stupidity and I hope robbo rips him for it
and now will miss the first month of next year

I'll tell you how. The Tigers would've won had Keary played halfback, Manu five eighth, Suaalii in the centres. The 2023 wooden spoon had our name written all over it courtesy of Robbo's call to drop Walker and persevere with his experiment. Robbo then doubled down on a bad decision and now we're hoping to scrape into the finals.

And now it's Sam Walker to the rescue! No pressure son.

              Spot on.

Once he gets the crazy eyes there's no stopping some stupid thing he'll do FFS.

While the team is battling away & busting their guts he'll be there sitting in the stands with his trackies & Rooster polo top on as a spectator from another stupid brain explosion.

He’s been a great player, a legend, but he’s a senior player and knows we are fighting for survival so to get carried away with so much on the line and the match was won is unacceptable. I pay tribute to his many years but think now in hindsight he should have retired this year and freed up some salary cap. Now we’re stuck with a player who can’t play for 5 matches next season. Already before next season’s whistle has been blown we begin under strength. Let’s hope our last game/s don’t add any more suspensions to next year.

the club needs to fight this. the head but charge is BS. show the walsh v laui ori9in footage. There was a player holding onto the top of jwhs jumper at the back. Then the person releases the jumper and jwh move forward causing a mild clash of heads. his whole body moved forward not just the head. the rest of the footage is no difference to a tackle, where contact is made but no force.
The late shot was only that.

Then when we win mention witch hunts and persecution.

Nothing wrong with being one eyed but you can’t be serious with the head butt charge.
JWH is a meat head and it was fully intentional, no one letting go of his jumper caused the head strike. Fighting it with that defence will guarantee a 4 week ban, the best we can hope for if fighting the charge is admit it but seek a down grade.
It’s not like JWH is an angel and this is a one off, he is regularly charged by the match review committee and giving away penalties.

Head butt charge the club should just accept but try for a down grade on the late head high charge.

If it was the other way around and the same head butt was against one of our players we would be screaming if the charge was any less than what JWH received.

yeh mate im dead set serious. number 4 from the tiggas is the bloke holding onto jwhs jumper and he lets go. There is 2 lots of footage. the original replays just after the late non contact with the head clash. then later there was footage of Victor giving Klemmer a lesson on the ground. they then pan to jwh. watch the hand on the jumper release the same time as his head and shoulder move forward

Buzz Rothfield claims the club is pretty filthy with JWH and his volume of undisciplined acts that are hurting this team.

I think it was better JWH did this against the Tigers, we can all agree his form has been down.
If this was to be a repeat of last years final against Souths when many players lost their cool then maybe better not having him lose his cool early against the Rabbits. Souths can hurt you when down a player.
Such a shame, an in form JWH is so valuable come finals.
It takes luck to win a GF, just not our year. Angus issues, Sitili, Injured, Watson out all year, Walker injured half the season (please don't blame the coach for this) Mat Lodge WTF happened to him, he was on fire for us last year.
Brandon Smith has had an interrupted year as well, starting to find some form.
Very disappointed with JWH. He should know better.
I have high hopes for next season but lets just enjoy the rest of this season first. You never know.

What role did priors/ loading play in the six weeks? I’m curious how different the charge would be for a clean skin player, if at all.

Your stretching it there to say the Tigers would have won had Keary played half / Manu 5/8 and Suaalii at centre - it's not fantasy league.

Wooden spoon name written all over it - yeh sure - gees no chance of that happening

Walker was dropped for a reason as he was playing poorly as the KPI's show - it wasn't going to be long term - the injury prevented an earlier return to NRL.

No problem with Manu at 5/8 based on other performances when he played 5/8 - vs Dragons last year which was the start of the 8 game winning streak - I recall how folk on here wanted him retained as 5/8 in place of Keary who was out that game.

Suaalii at centre was not a poor call either especially based on what centres were available for possible selection - Billy Smith and Paul Momirovski were unavailable - noting the site went into melt down when either Allan or the Hutchinator played centre.

In hind site Coach Robinson's mistake was not playing the Hutchinator at half when Walkers injury prevented a return to NRL.

Walker still has a lot to work on to become an established 7 - Structure , Game Management and kicking game is not NRL standard at this stage
