JWH challenging the grading on the late hit at the judiciary tmr night. As he should I think. Definitely not a grade 2. Dumb as shit, but how it was deemed a grade 2 is absurd. If he wins in his bid to downgrade it to a grade 1 he will only cop a fine for that offence so 3 weeks all up which is more on the money imo.

Waerea-Hargreaves’ Vegas nightmare
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves’ brain snap on Saturday night is likely to cost the enforcer a ticket to Las Vegas for next year’s series opener against the Broncos.
That could hinge on the club’s ability to play finals football as well as some assistance from the New Zealand Rugby League.
Under NRL rules, representative matches count towards suspension. Waerea-Hargreaves is facing a six-week ban and at least one of them will be served this season.

The Roosters are hopeful New Zealand will provide the NRL with a document that says the prop forward would have been picked in the end-of-season Pacific Test series.
If the Kiwis make the final in the Tri-Nations tournament against Australia and Samoa, three games will count towards the ban.
Waerea-Hargreaves will also attempt to have the All Stars game count towards the suspension, taking his tally to five games.
If the Roosters can beat the Rabbitohs on Friday night and progress through to the finals. Waerea-Hargreaves will be on the plane to Las Vegas next year.

Wooden spoon name written all over it - yeh sure - gees no chance of that happening
Walker was dropped for a reason as he was playing poorly as the KPI's show - it wasn't going to be long term - the injury prevented an earlier return to NRL.
No problem with Manu at 5/8 based on other performances when he played 5/8 - vs Dragons last year which was the start of the 8 game winning streak - I recall how folk on here wanted him retained as 5/8 in place of Keary who was out that game.
Suaalii at centre was not a poor call either especially based on what centres were available for possible selection - Billy Smith and Paul Momirovski were unavailable - noting the site went into melt down when either Allan or the Hutchinator played centre.
In hind site Coach Robinson's mistake was not playing the Hutchinator at half when Walkers injury prevented a return to NRL.
Walker still has a lot to work on to become an established 7 - Structure , Game Management and kicking game is not NRL standard at this stage

The 2023 wooden spoon had our name written all over it courtesy of Robbo's call to drop Walker and persevere with his experiment. Robbo then doubled down on a bad decision and now we're hoping to scrape into the finals.
And now it's Sam Walker to the rescue! No pressure son.
